Tips For Choosing And Using Dishwashing Liquid

To keep your dishwasher and your glasses, plates, cutlery and other kitchen utensils in an optimal state, it is certainly essential to select a good dishwashing detergent. Here are some facts, tips, and recommendations that you should keep in mind when choosing your dishwasher detergent.

First of all, you should assess that there are standard detergents and all-in-one detergents. Standard detergents are made with ingredients specially designed to clean your cutlery while all-in-one detergents also incorporate the rinse aid and salt.

At first glance, it may seem that all-in-one detergents are the best option, although we recommend combining their use with other types of detergents because they do not dry completely well. Thus, a great option is to use the classic dishwashing detergents and add the rinse aid and salt separately to prevent the formation of lime.

It is also basic that, no matter how many times you have heard it in popular wisdom, you completely banish the idea that vinegar can replace the brightener. Vinegar is acidic and therefore, in addition to that it will not polish your glasses, glasses or cutlery, in the long run, it can even damage your dishes.

You should always place the detergent inside the dishwasher box specially designed for it, but if you can’t do it we recommend placing it on the dishwasher floor and not on top of the other cutlery or glasses. Also, while the capsule formats have a packaging that should not be removed, check that the traditional tablets should be unwrapped or else you can damage your dishwasher.

Do not use less than the dose recommended by the manufacturer because then your dishwasher detergent will not be efficient, but do not use more or else you can damage your dishwasher. Once the washing cycle is finished, wait for a while to dry your dishes or else stains will appear.

We also recommend that you regularly clean your dishwasher to keep it in optimal condition. If you want you can opt for dishwashing detergents, but if you don’t have it, water and salt will also be a good option to clean your appliance.
